Description: This is a fun game type. It is kind of like playing tag, except when you are it you get awesome powers.
JefeTheMonkey69 writes, "Mutant is a game type in which everybody battles to become the Mutant for 2 main reasons - the Mutant receives a significant armor bonus and increase in weapon selection and firing speed, and more importantly, the Mutant is the only player who can score kills. To become the Mutant, you must kill the player who is currently the Mutant."

I LOVE THIS GAME MODE YOU SHOULD UPGRADE IT SO THE MUTANT HAVE THE AUTOSHIELD MULATOR SO HE CAN REALY SEEM LIKE A MUTANT
oh hey! this is like the gladiater mod for Quake 3! great idea man.. I'll get it right this second. and yeah.. autoshield would be a great addition.

Here's an idea. Ever play Metal Gear Online's SNEAK mode? One person played as Snake while the other players were guards trying to catch him. You could take this mod and try to make it a Capture the Flag game. The Mutant has to capture a flag. Add the autoshield that joe grizzly talks about, make him/her invisible and give them all the regular Mutant abilities. Perhaps add the Berserker mutator also. Add a 5 or 10 minute timer to capture said flag. If not, guards win. I've got the PS3 version, so I can't try this myself, but I think it would be a hell of a lot of fun!

Hi I love this mode!!! but when I search for it online it only comes up with deathmatch results. Is this because it doesn't display them as 'mutant games' or is it because they are all actually 'dm games'? please help me as I would love to do this against real ppl instead of bots :)
Great game type...but it seems like the bots just treat it like a normal deathmatch and don't try and go for the mutant. Am I the only one who's seen this?
they should make it so it has an option screen like the zombie should have bigger jumps how much more life it should have, weather they are stronger what weapon they can and cant have. also there own mutator option have different mutator to other player
