PS3 DOWNLOAD LINK

IMPORTANT: This is a new cook that fixes missing preview pics

Mod Type: Deathmatch Map
Name:
RB-Singularity2 cooked ver. 2.1
Author: Remus
Website: Epic Forums Post
File Size: 14.7 MB
Description: Building upon the original Singularity map, Remus returns by adding a new spectacular cosmic backdrop and improved visuals while providing large player counts the ideal place for low grav combat. Try not to wish upon any shooting stars here as one just might decide to shoot back.

Remus writes, "Large space map, set on a space station equipped with a spherical forcefield to protect it from the close by singularity. Low gravity, all weapons except bio rifle present. One vehicle, the raptor. Two powerups: berserk, and Udamage. "
Thanks Remus.

  1. HEY! Please anyone, HELP!

I downloaded whatever mod I wanted until I reached exactly 100, but before I could party about it, the game instantly started freezing here and there. After deleting every mod I downloaded that day, I was back to about 68 mods, but for some reason the game freezes after every match I play and asks me to turn off my mods every time.

    Most recently dl'ed mods:

    Greycap
    Dante
    AllOverDM
    ParadiseSE
    Defection
    Immulsion
UTDOM - this is a HUGE mod I tossed
    BadVibrations
    FRAGASM
And plenty of others, but I think some of these are pretty suspicious. Mainly UTDOM and Immulsion (I don't know why.)

I also believe there is a limitation of max mods allowed on a system based of Hard Drive space, (in this case, I have 20/70 gigs remaining). I will have to remember to keep my MODS under 70 but my game is still weakened because of the... something.

Can somebody please help me understand what's wrong? Maybe my situation is a good test dummy so that others can learn from my suffering.

Why can't we have unlimited freaking mods!

  2. Check the mods you installed prior to downloading the map. In most cases it's a previous mod that you still have that's causing a conflict w/ the 2.0 patch.

  3. Thanks so much, man! I actually figured it out shortly after posting that it wasn't my downloaded characters, weapons, mutators, mods, etc., but MAPS that were ruining my game. If at all I have a single map that is incompatible with 2.0, my game will freeze after every round, after every download, after every Re-Enabling of Mods, and so on and so forth.
I hope others are not having this problem as well. JUST make sure to have 2.0 Maps, and possibly everything else as well, and we should all be fine!
Thanks again for your response KurlonT!
